Waterberg Wilderness Reserve consists of 78,830 acres and is located in the Waterberg region of South Africa’s Limpopo province. The reserve is a declared provincial reserve area with a Critical Biodiversity 1 classification and a core area of the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve as officially declared by UNESCO in 2001.

Having been designated as a protected area the primary objective lies with Natural Resource conservation. The Concession is run along pure sustainable management and development principles, with an exceptionally low developmental and tourism footprint thereby offering unrivaled exclusivity and privacy.

Our block is home to over 50 different mammals including, Elephant, Lion, Rhino, Leopard and Cape Buffalo (Big 5) as well as Hippo and Crocodile (Dangerous 7). Unique predators like Cheetah and African Wild dog also hunt and roam the reserve at will.
